Management Support

These EBS Financial Management Support services have been designed to specifically help small businesses that have recognised the need for financial management but do not have the in-house resource to carry this out with optimum effectiveness or have the funding to recruit a full-time employee with the appropriate skills and experience.

These services provide hands-on support for designing and managing key management information programmes, improving business processes and setting strategic direction by providing qualified and experienced financial management professionals on an as needed basis.

What Is Included?

The EBS Financial Management Support services provide priority access to the EBS network of financial management professionals, as and when they are needed.

The service covers the provision of professional hands-on financial management support for:

  • Level 3 - Management Information Programme Roll-out

The creation of a complete management information programme including agreeing key information needs for the business, budget setting and management, software sourcing, staff training and full programme roll-out management.

  • Level 4 - Business Process Improvement

The management of a business process improvement programme including agreeing key business objectives, analysis of the current processes, recommendation and implementation of change to align processes more effectively to customer needs.

  • Level 5 - Interim Finance Manager/Director

The provision of an on-site interim Finance Manager/Director to manage a finance team for a specified period. This could be to cover the gap between an existing manager leaving and their replacement being recruited or maybe to help set up a new finance team from scratch. The placement would typically be for an agreed number of days per week/month.

  • Level 6 - Non-Executive Finance Director

The provision of a board-level Finance Director, on a non-executive basis, to contribute to the strategic management of a business. This placement would typically be for an agreed number of days per month over a year.

What Does It Cost?

The fees for the EBS Financial Management Support services are charged on a daily rate basis.

Level 3 and Level 4 services are charged at £750 + VAT per day plus travelling expenses. The fee for Level 5 and Level 6 is £1,000 + VAT per day, also plus travelling expenses.
